PBS kids - Play hundreds of free educational games and fun activities with your favorite characters from PBS KIDS shows.

Reading is Fundamental - The Parents section of the Reading Is Fundamental web site offers several tips and suggestions to help encourage your kids to read. You'll find activities, tips, articles, booklists, games, and more. There is a Kids section, too.

Scholastic - Online Activities and Interactive Learning for Students in Grades PreK-12.

Guilderland School - Parents are a child's first teacher. They are also a child's best advocate all through school. To be effective in those roles, parents need information. That is why we have compiled the following list of articles for your reference. While these articles cover a wide variety of topics, they are all designed with one goal in mind: To help you help your child become a more successful learner.

Safe Kids Oregon - Working to prevent unintentional, preventable injury and death. The Oregon SAFE KIDS Coalition unites public and private organizations including emergency responders, law enforcement, health and safety professionals as well as interested citizens who work together to reduce unintentional preventable injury and death in Oregon's children Ages 0 - 14.

Cultural Pass - A county-wide library program was introduced in July 2002 in which we offer for one-day check out, family passes to local cultural venues. Patrons 18 and over can reserve passes, check them out and treat the family to a FREE adventure. You can reserve a pass for a specific day, by visiting or calling any library in Clackamas County.

Portland Art Museum - The Museum is pleased to announce a major gift to its endowment to fund free admission opportunities. Gordon D. Sondland and Katherine J. Durant have pledged $1 million to endow free general admission for children, ages 17 and younger. Quarterly Free Family Days: First free family day: March 22

FIDO - (Friends Involved in Dog Outreach) FIDO is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, founded in June 2004 by citizens and business people of Clackamas County, Oregon, who wanted to help ensure a bright future for all dogs in the county by supporting the work of Clackamas County Dog Services.
Open the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (Beginning 2/21/09)
No transportation provided to the shelter
Food distributed on a first come/first served basis
Leave your dog at home please
Bring bag/box to carry the food home
