CCCCHS is a non-profit organization that serves 3 and 4 year-old children of low-income families residing in Clackamas County. Head start does not charge any fees. We provide quality pre-school education, nutritious meals, regular health screenings including dental, vision, and hearing, mental health staff, and family services including, home visits. About Healthy Start...

Healthy start services are voluntary and free! Income level does not matter. Parents who are expecting or whose first child is less than 90 days old may be eligible to receive home visits and one-on-one parenting support and education from Healthy Start. Our family support workers offer a variety of services that help inform parents about many parenting issues such as bonding with your baby, breastfeeding support, post-partum changes, healthy infant growth, development and milestones, as well as resources in your community. Want to get involved?

Just a few ways to get involved in Head Start:

  • Donate - Money, clothes, classroom supplies, toys, paper, computers, office supplies, etc.
  • Volunteer - In the classroom, the office, the kitchen, special projects, and more.
  • Join Policy Council - a group of parents and community members that are elected at center level to participate in decision and policy making of the Head Start program. This group of elected members consists of at least 51 % parents of the children currently enrolled in Head Start and the council consists of interested community members.
  • Feedback - please provide us with your input.
